Every cat needs a vantage point, a place where he can safely survey his surroundings without easily being seen. Cuervo Sebastian has found a handy place that supplies him with just enough leverage to jump onto Cluny when he appears and nonchantly walks around the other end of the dresser. Ah, how surprised Cluny will be! What satisfaction for Cuervo to know that he has one-upped that Cluny!
I wondered why he kept knocking off the vase that occupied that particular space before he did. Now I know.
Meanwhile, where is Cluny? In the den, beside Daddy, fast asleep in his favourite position.

My male cat always used to jump up on the coat rack among hats and gloves when he wanted to have some peace. It took a while before I figured out where he was the first time he did it :)
