Cat Trends

Cluny Cat with the Computer Cats' personalities are so different! Here Cluny insists upon helping when I'm working on the computer. When I get up for a fresh cup of tea, he decides to take over the computer; I assume he is protecting it for me since he knows I like it a lot.
Cat playing with mouse Cuervo, on the other hand, continues his year long attempt to completely gut cotton-stuffed black mousie.  He has a while to go, but diligently works at his goal every day.

Cluny looks up questioningly, "What are we going to do now?" he asks. Being with me is what life is all about, well, that and food.
Cat on the cat tree Cluny decides to keep an eye on me as I work from the cat tree.

Gee, I'm tired; cat stretching
Meanwhile, Cuervo, tired from his prolonged bouts with mousie, decides to take a well-deserved nap in the living room. Life is good.

Lazy Saturdays from a Cat's View

It's good to stretch in the sun, Cuervo decides, and fun to look at people upside down.  So disconcerting for them!
It's wonderful to have something to push off of - it's the best exercise equipment!

Cuervo does one of his "I'm so cute" poses.

Cluny contemplates the silver ribbon that is a source of fascination both to him and to Cuervo.  There's just something about that ribbon!  No cat toy can quite match it.

Cluny decides to take the ribbon for himself.  After all, possession is 9/10's of the law.
Oh, well, it didn't taste that good, and Cluny loves to pose for pictures.

Here is where Cluny likes to sleep.  The cat tree condo is not really a favorite element of a room by posh designers, but for indoor cats, it's almost a necessity.  And it is an excellent scratching post, when my kitties decide to use it.  Cluny loves to sleep on this particular level, not on the top, not on the other platform, just this one.
Below, I disturbed him with the camera and he decided to keep one eye on me!
Below, Cuervo Sebastian prefers one of the French bergere chair for night-time sleep.  He has a couple of special daytime places.
He always has to wash himself before he goes to sleep,of course.

Below, Cluny is up from his nap, and pondering whether he should attack Cuervo while he is sleeping. Again, he's wondering, what is with the camera?

Ever Wary

Every cat needs a vantage point, a place where he can safely survey his surroundings without easily being seen. Cuervo Sebastian has found a handy place that supplies him with just enough leverage to jump onto Cluny when he appears and nonchantly walks around the other end of the dresser. Ah, how surprised Cluny will be! What satisfaction for Cuervo to know that he has one-upped that Cluny!
I wondered why he kept knocking off the vase that occupied that particular space before he did. Now I know.
Meanwhile, where is Cluny? In the den, beside Daddy, fast asleep in his favourite position.

Let Sleeping Cats Lie

Cuervo looks like a little snug kitty angel while he sleeps, and reminds us that he is only 10 months old.Wherever I am, without fail
People notice my exquisite tail.
And Cluny is really proud of his pretty tiger-striped tail; he has to show it off even when he's sleeping!

A Little Hideaway....

Cluny's red eyes are not fixable with the photo program I have since they only do a small portion of the eye (it was made for the human eye, not the big eyes of such a marvelous feline). Cluny hides under a pillow on the bed hoping no one will notice so that he can jump out and scare whomever breathless!

Yes, It's Spring!

Pennsylvania has Phil, but here at our house, all we have to do is open the powder room window; if a cat jumps in and stays more than 5 minutes, you know that it's time for good weather!
